Lessons I've Learned This Year

I've not been updating my blog for a while now, so here's a new post since I'm done with first year.

I've learned many things this year. So many that it is hard to compress it into this blog. Lessons learned from anyone, and anywhere.

1. Keep the faith

It was March and nobody wanted to give us a game in rugby. Nobody. People kept cancelling at us last minute. Nevertheless, the lads kept faith and we had more matches - close to 10 i think.

2. Never give up

Should I even mention this? 5 minutes left, and Bobby ran a quarter of the pitch to score a try in the final against HELP. Absolutely unbelievable! I lost my voice ( and me head) when the final whistle was blown. 7 players injured in the final, and we still won!

3. Stick it out

You're tired, frustrated, and out of ideas. So what do you do? Sleep it off? No, you keep on at it. You just soldier on and fight it till it draws all the energy from you. You stick it out, and believe you me, wonders will occur.

These are probably the three most important lessons I've learned this year. Maybe you have too.
